NO, NO, NO IKE!

The title of my blog is what I taught Scarlett to say to hurricane Ike. She gets her little pointer finger in the air and says" no, no, no IKE!". I feel the same way since that dumb hurricane took away our power and water. We are now going on the 5th day without both. Luckily, my in-laws are here and they are FABULOUS!!! We have actually had fun under the circumstances. Now don't get me wrong , this SUCKS but we feel like we are camping and when the generator is on and pumping the fans on high- we can actually sleep with the windows open and listen to each other's jokes. It has been a time of helping out others and literally praying through the storm. Thankfully, we are all alive and that is the most important of all. See you bloggers later- I only have power for so long......the inventor of the generator is a God sent blessing!
